1. Yes, I know I haven’t updated in a very, very long time.
2. Yes, I know that nobody comes to my site anyway, so it doesn’t really matter.
3. You should know that I am only doing this for myself.
The good news is that I’m learning how to turn my java code into applets, so hopefully I’ll put up some of those soon. Also, I’m touching up some tracks that I’m going to try to SELL, that’s right, SELL on this site if I can work out the e-commerce app.
So, yeah. Rock on.

As part of my advanced blog stastics that tell me that nobody actually visits my site, there is a list of the most common search terms that people are searching if they find this site through a Google search.
Allow me to list some search terms that have apparently led to people visiting this site. I am absolutely at a loss for what these people were possibly trying to actually find:
- what arcana am i
- emo hearts
- hate, hatred
- world acceptence
- abacadaba alphabet song
- download pokemon frostbite

I hope in the upcoming days to upload a lot more music to the site for you to listen to (both solo-stuff and some more East Carolina). Right now, I thought it would be appropriate to write a “theme song” for my blog, so here I present the 20-minute power-project World of Arcana Theme
World of Arcana (Theme) - Download “World of Arcana Theme”
For some reason, it came out sounding like it was poorly compressed, even though it wasn’t - weird. Still having podcast issues, but hope to resolve those soon. There was another East Carolina track posted on that page, so check that out. I may do some more updates to “Things That Are Good” - ojos. And finally, keep checking for when I finally put up the mysterious “Aether” page…

Firstly, two avid readers*, I’ve done some updates to the “Things That Are Good” page - I’ve added in a new section of Music That Is Good, plus I’ve added a link for every item on the list. So yea.
Secondly, and slightly more excitingly, I’ve added a new sub-page under music for the music of the power-duo East Carolina, of which I comprise one half. In today’s day and age, what band is without an unlistened to web presence (hint: it’s not 2,000,000 terrible MySpace bands)? The page will be updated with more music, videos, etc. possibly.
*I’m told that the best cure for low readership is just to continue to post and shamelessly throw your URL into the pool of the internet. And so I will continue on.

For all 38 people who visited my site yesterday, I’m sure you’re all anxiously awaiting another update (especially those of you blog-searching robots! (which is probably 35 of those hits)). Keep your eyes on the music page… there should be an update very shortly.
On another note, there was an update to the Music page yesterday - I linked to some YouTube videos, which the brilliant minds at YouTube have informed me have received a total of 2 plays through this site! Yes! I love small numbers - they’re so much easier to work with!
In other news/things to check out, my favorite ARG designers, Dan and Adrian Hon, have launched the next section of their project with Penguin Books, called “We Tell Stories” where authors re-envision how classic texts could be retold using modern technology. Although I though last week’s chapter was excellent, I’m also really blown away by this week’s chapter, Hard Times. It reminds me very much of Shift Happens. I highly recommend checking both out for a great diversion.

Thank you to all…33 people who have viewed my site so far today. Considering that yesterday the only person who viewed it was me, that means that by Friday I should have over 39 million views (assuming a geometric sequence. If arithmetic, then only 165. I’ll take bets on which one you think is going to happen.)
As for the reference in the title of this post, I’ve finally actually physically purchased my tickets to see Jonathan Coulton and Paul and Storm in May. I couldn’t be more excited to see them - I’ve seen far too many JoCo concert videos on YouTube to deprive myself this opportunity. So yea.
I’m going to be adding more content to the Music and Things That Are Good pages today, and may add some more pages. Stay tuned, you lucky 33.

The site is now more or less ready to go. I’ve added a few themes that I like, and so I may be playing around with them for the next few days. There’s one that I’d really like to try called Blue Zinfandel, but it keeps screwing up the mp3 players on the Music page…
BTW, if anybody has any theme recommendations, would love to hear them.

So for you nobody who went to my site last night according to my bandwidth reports, I have changed my site from Drupal powered to Wordpress powered. Last night I was getting extremely frustrated with Drupal not doing anything I wanted it to. Today I set up Wordpress.
Listen closely to me: Wordpress is seven thousand times better than Drupal.
Seriously, even for somebody like me (who likes to pretend he’s technologically literate) setting up Drupal was a royal pain. Most changes I made on FTP wouldn’t show up on the server, pages and posts weren’t created the way I wanted - it was pretty frustrating. Somebody at Wordpress seemed to decide to leave frustration out of their system, and the setup was so painless, I literally laughed out loud.
Seriously Drupal, take a hint.
